Are you confused by the gate operation? 
It's not just you!

It's confusing.  We've assembled this information to help explain it all.

As you are aware, the community is served by a pair of gates.  These are NOT security gates, but are intended to reduce ordinary drive-through traffic and enhance your living experience.  Please do not rely on the gates as security gates, but take due care and caution to protect your family and property from crime as you would any home anywhere.

Access is provided by specifically numbered cards or PIN codes and access is recorded and time-stamped by the unique number associated with your property.

Please DO NOT SHARE your PIN code with anyone other than  trusted persons, and ensure that they know that the code must not be shared.

Please note the following:

The front gate is open during the day 6:30a-7p Monday through Friday, 7a-6p on Saturday and Noon-6p on Sunday.  It may be scheduled to be open for a narrow window for private parties when an opening is requested a week in advance.

Exits are opened by magnetic sensor, and not recorded.

Your 4-digit PIN code when entered on the control panel preceded by # will open the gate.  PIN codes are recorded.

Visitors may select your name on the panel and the panel will dial the phone number CMG has entered into the system.  Your caller ID will report "Legend Oaks."  You may press 9 to buzz them in, or if you do not recognize the caller, simply hang up.  The gate does not reveal your phone number to visitors.
