Coosaw Commons Pool Rules Members of Pool Committee: Karen Parker, 8715 Grassy Oak Pool Hours: 8 AM-10 PM daily (The pool gate should be closed at all time.) Pool Open: Pool is open from May 1 st-September 30, 2008 as per the contract.The pool committee would like to take this opportunity to review rules and regulations for using our pool. It is important that all residents assist in adhering to and enforcing the rules. Since there is no lifeguard, we must ensure these as the safety of all residents depend on it. Proper Resident Conduct: Each member of the pool is to treat each other with respect. We have organized this pool for the benefit of all residents. It is important that everyone have a safe and enjoyable experience. Any resident (youth or adult) that is using improper conduct on the pool premises will result in discipline action and possible suspension of pool privileges. Any violation of pool rules or pool committee instructions may result in loss of pool privileges. Pool rules, first aid kit and emergency phone are located in the entry area of the pool. DHEC Rules (State Law): 1. There should be no solo swimming. 2. There should be no running, boisterous, or rough play. 3. No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs should use the pool. 4. There should be no spitting or blowing nose in pool. 5. Persons with diarrhea illness or nausea should not enter the pool. 6. Persons with skin, eye, ear or respiratory infections should not enter the pool. 7. Persons with open lesions or wounds should not enter the pool. 8. No animals or pets allowed in the pool. 9. No glass allowed in the pool or on the deck. 10. No children should be in the pool without supervision. 11. You should take a shower before entering the pool. 12. The maximum number of swimmers allowed in the pool is 45. 13. A first aid kit is located at the front entrance. 14. An emergency phone is located at the front gate. 15. The certified pool operator at this facility is Pat Walz Phone# 270-7166 The Pool Committee would like everyone to enjoy the pool. If these rules are not followed, then the Coosaw Commons Homeowner’s Association may need to hire a lifeguard which will result in an extra expense of all residents. Have a safe and fun summer! |
